How does patch installation work?

I'm trying to install this patch: https://blog.0patch.com/2021/11/micropatching-incompletely-patched.html

I've registered and installed the agent.  But my dashboard shows no patches installed.  Does the download & installation of the patch happen automatically?  If it does, when will that happen?  Or do I have to do this myself?  If so, how?
