After installation of 0patch Agent, or upon trying to launch 0patch Console, you may get the following error:
"0patch user interface cannot be open because 0patch registry keys (settings) cannot be opened (initLog)!"
This error is indicative of a failed installation. Please uninstall and re-install 0patch Agent to resolve this problem.
Note: this error can be caused by launching 0patch Agent Installer (MSI) file again after having already installed 0patch Agent, and choosing "Repair" on the first dialog. In case the repair operation fails, it results in the "Installer was interrupted" error and leaves the Agent in a damaged state, requiring uninstallation and reinstallation. The correct way of launching 0patch Console is to either click the Windows Start button and find or type "0patch Console", or double-click the 0patch icon in the system tray (FREE and PRO plans only).
